Tipper Driver

Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting for multiple roles as a Tipper Driver based in the Hampshire region.

The role

Operating out of our strategic sites in the South East, you will be the face of TJ Transport. You’ll be driving 8-wheel tipper vehicles, transporting aggregates and muckaway between construction sites, quarries and our recycling facilities.

• The mission: Help us achieve our goal of recycling 100% of the waste we receive.
• The schedule: Minimum 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with weekend overtime available to significantly boost your take-home pay.

Earnings: £39,240+ potential annual gross
Stability: 50 hours guaranteed per week

Pay

Standard rate: £14.00 per hour, minimum 50 hours per week
Overtime (Mon-Fri after 10hrs): Time-and-a-half – £21.00/hr
Saturday rate: Time-and-a-half for all hours worked – £21.00/hr
Sunday & bank holiday: Double time – £28.00/hr
Tax efficiency: Mobile worker allowance (up to £0.225/hr tax relief)

Key skills, experience & qualifications required

• Licence: Category C (Class 2) is essential
• CPC: Valid Driver CPC & Digi Tacho card
• Experience: HGV – 2 years (preferred)
• Bonus skills: Previous tipper or muckaway experience is highly desirable
• Reliability: A professional attitude toward site safety and vehicle maintenance
