TJ secures two Constructionline accreditations

TJ Transport recently secured two Constructionline accreditations, which demonstrate our high credibility as a company, as well as our compliance with health and safety regulations and relevant industry standards.

We have gained Constructionline Bronze member status and Constructionline Social Value, two prestigious accolades in the construction industry.

By holding bronze membership we’re demonstrating that we meet specific standards related to health and safety, financial stability, technical capability, and compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. It means that we pre-qualify for clients and contracts across the UK, saving time by providing a standardised assessment of our suitability to fulfil construction projects.

The Social Value accreditation is a great way for us to showcase our fantastic social value capabilities, which include taking on apprentices, encouraging a diverse workforce and getting involved in community initiatives and projects.

Holding these accreditations also demonstrate our:

  • Enhanced credibility
Constructionline accreditation will enhance our credibility and reputation within the construction industry. It signals to clients, including public sector organisations and larger private sector companies, that we have met rigorous standards and are committed to professionalism and quality.

  • Complete compliance
Our compliance with health and safety regulations and relevant industry standards is highlighted by these accreditations. This demonstrates our commitment to safe working practices and mitigating risks associated with construction projects; clients value contractors with strong safety records and a commitment to best practices.

Holding these accreditations allows us to:

  • Access more opportunities
Being registered with Constructionline expands a contractor’s access to a wide range of construction projects. Many public sector organisations and major clients require contractors to be Constructionline accredited to be eligible for tendering or to participate in their procurement processes. Accreditation increases visibility and opens doors to new business opportunities.
  • Reduce our administrative burden
Constructionline’s database stores key company information, certificates, policies, and other necessary documents. This centralised platform allows contractors to manage and update their information, reducing the administrative burden of repeatedly submitting documentation for different projects. It also enables potential clients to easily access up-to-date information about accredited contractors.
  • Benefit from improved supply chain efficiency
Constructionline’s platform facilitates efficient supply chain management. Accredited contractors can easily connect with other Constructionline-registered suppliers and subcontractors, streamlining the procurement process. This collaboration can lead to improved project delivery and increased operational efficiency.

TJ’s Head of Compliance, Jack Macfarlane was tasked with securing these accreditations and he spent several months working towards these to ensure our success.

Jack was required to access an online portal where he had to answer various questions about the business and evidence our health & safety policies, procedures and standards. For the Social Value accreditation, evidence of community engagement had to be provided, so Jack referred to the many community initiatives that TJ has been involved with in recent years.

Jack said: “Gaining these accreditations confirms our position as a credible and responsible service provider. It will allow us to attract and secure new contracts more easily and gives those considering utilising our services complete peace of mind that we’re a highly competent and reputable company to work with.”

Please get in touch if you’d like to explore working with us. You can also find out more about the services we offer and read about the community projects and CSR initiatives we’ve been involved with in recent times…
